ACCOUNT BUFFER
How much money should be in the account for turnover?
A simple estimate starts with daily turnover: average stake multiplied by bets per day. For comfort, you may keep at least one day of turnover in the account; for a more cautious buffer, two or more days depending on settlement time and risk tolerance.
Turnover is not the same as loss
Turnover is the volume staked. Some funds may return through winning selections, but settlement timing affects available liquidity.
What increases the buffer
More live selections, delayed settlement, higher odds and greater variance may require a larger buffer.
Personal limit
A technical buffer does not replace a risk budget. Use only money you can afford to lose.
