ROI
How do you calculate betting ROI?
ROI is calculated by dividing net profit by total turnover and multiplying by 100. If you turn over 10,000 RON and make 300 RON net profit, ROI is 3%. A useful ROI figure should be reported with the time period, number of selections and average odds.
What turnover means
Turnover is the sum of all stakes, not the deposit balance and not gross winnings.
Positive and negative ROI
Positive ROI indicates profit for the measured period; negative ROI indicates loss. Neither guarantees future performance.
Why sample size matters
A high percentage across a few selections may be dominated by luck. A larger sample is more informative but still does not remove risk.
