What it means
To validate a method, the same entry must be visible before settlement and linkable to the result. Otherwise we do not know how many unsuccessful or unposted selections are missing.

Posted result versus prospectively recorded wager
A result posted after the match shows what was reported; a prospective wager shows that selection, odds and time were fixed before the result.
Example
In the complete audit, about 87% of settled ticket IDs for each source appear only after the result. That is publishing evidence, not a complete prospective backtest.
Watch out for
This does not automatically accuse a source of being false. It says the archive, in its current form, cannot demonstrate full ROI or selection rate.
